Google Apps at SU is a simple 1-page site that was developed to announce the availability of Google Apps to Syracuse University students, faculty, and staff.

The Challenge

Create a responsive, retina-ready WordPress theme from a provided design created by an in-house designer. All content must be editable by the site admin.

The Solution

CSS media queries for screen pixel density detection to conditionally load higher-resolution icons. CSS breakpoints for improved layout on mobile devices. CSS3 transforms for a rotated tiling background without the need to load a massive image. Custom theme customize options and a custom menu allow the site admin to configure all content.
