The website for the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, or IVMF for short, was a project to develop a full-custom, responsive WordPress theme for the clients, from a design provided by an outside contractor.

The Challenge

The theme required numerous custom features to be built, including multiple page templates, a staff system, Google custom search integration, sliders, carousels, a contact form, and more. To top it off, the website also had to be Internet Explorer 8 compatible.

The Solution

Myself and two other developers teamed up to produce this theme, on-time, and on-spec. We worked closely together to ensure we efficiently split up tasks to each of our skill-sets.

Development

This theme started development in July 2012, with initial development completed at the start of September.
